FAQs
Supervision
Who do you work with?
I work with those in client-facing healing professions, including osteopaths, chiropractors, bodyworkers, breathwork practitioners, naturopaths, homeopaths, hypnotherapists, and psycho-spiritual practitioners such as mediums and shamanic practitioners.
I also support group facilitators, including those who hold women’s circles, lead retreats, or offer workshops.
What do we explore in supervision?
Supervision offers a confidential and non-judgemental space where we can explore a wide range of experiences within your professional life.
This may include your work with clients or colleagues, particularly where relationships feel complex, challenging, or remain with you after a session. You may notice certain interactions staying in your awareness, or a sense of carrying another person’s emotions or energy.
We can also explore how to sustain your wellbeing within your work, including recognising the early signs of burnout and supporting you in maintaining balance.
Supervision creates space for reflection on your practice, your values, and your approach, while also supporting you in developing and expanding what you offer to your clients.
How often should I have Supervision?
The frequency of supervision is guided by you and what you would like to receive from the sessions.
For ongoing support, many people choose to meet every four to eight weeks, or to have a quarterly session. At times of transition or increased demand, you may prefer to meet more regularly for a period of time.
It is also completely appropriate to arrange sessions as and when you feel the need for support or reflection.
Can put my Supervision sessions towards my CPD?
Yes. Supervision can form a valuable part of your continuing professional development.
Can I claim Supervision against my tax?
Yes. Receipts can be provided on request.
How is Supervision different from mentoring and coaching?
There are natural overlaps between supervision, mentoring, and coaching, and each can support your development in different ways.
Supervision focuses on deepening understanding. It invites you to explore your responses, values, and experiences, and to view situations from different perspectives. This process supports both you and the clients you work with.
Mentoring draws more directly on the experience of the practitioner, offering guidance based on lived knowledge and professional insight.
Coaching is often more structured and focused on specific goals or outcomes, supporting both action and self-discovery.
In practice, these approaches often blend. Within supervision, I may draw on elements of each where it serves you.
Do you work with groups?
Yes. I offer group supervision for practices and teams, as well as online group sessions. Some of these are offered freely.
You are welcome to get in touch for more information or join my newsletter to hear about upcoming groups and workshops.
How much does it cost?
Our Session will be…
PERSONALIsED
Our work together is always tailored to you. In our initial sessions, we will explore your current situation and clarify what would feel most supportive, creating a way of working that meets your needs and intentions.
Targeted
Through this process, we bring awareness to patterns, blind spots, and areas of challenge, allowing new understanding and choice to emerge.
Integrative
We also consider your wider experience of work and life, supporting a sense of balance and sustainability, so that you can continue to offer your work from a place of clarity and wellbeing.
